Sion Simon MP is a Disgusting Excuse for a Politician
No, nothing new, and he hasn’t (as far as I know) been in the papers recently being his usual horrid self, but I was commenting on Blue Eyes (on yet another post that’s well worth reading) when I remembered this video from 2006. Quite apart from being atrociously rude (and possibly showing himself up as a chauvinist) to the Sky interviewer, the quote that makes him a disgusting excuse for a politician was this:
My job, as a Member of Parliament, is to support the Labour government and work for the re-election of another Labour government.
Excuse me, Sir! I have a question! Oooh Ooh Pick Me Pick ME!
Isn’t your job, as a Member of Parliament, to represent the people of your constituency? No?

Erm, let me see if I understand you.. You want me, to do something for you ?! That’s a novelty – how does that work?
