I’m sorry, but I can’t cancel the account with the charge being paid.

Well I expect this is due to the outstanding charge. I’m sorry, I can’t do anything until the charges are cleared.

“OK, well say I was to pay you the £86 so that I could cancel the account, and then cancel it – would I be entitled to a partial refund?”

If you’d like to cancel your account, you can pay off the balance and then I can put a cancellation ticket in for you, but any payment is non-refundable, Retin Buy. This was mentioned in your Terms and Conditions.

“So, the only way I can proceed if I no longer want a hosting account is to pay you £86 I can’t really afford for a service I don’t want that you aren’t currently providing, and then cancel the service and lose all the money?”

“I’m afraid I didn’t receive any form of warning that my account was to be renewed and my card charged the better part of a hundred quid – did I miss an email alert. If I’d received some notice of the renewal I could have pre-emptively cancelled and saved all the hassle.”

The renewal dates have been shown in your control panel. At this point, or possibly after a few iterations of the same, retin a expiration date, there was a long and stony silence, in which the phone line buzzed with tension.
